SEND & Specialist Education

A change in behaviour rarely begins with a single incident.

It develops over time — across classrooms, activities, staff teams and everyday experiences. The difficulty is seeing those individual moments as part of the same story.

Loma brings observations, incidents and contextual information together over time, helping education and support teams recognise emerging patterns, understand what may be driving change and intervene earlier.

A clearer longitudinal picture can help teams:

  • recognise changes in behaviour and emotional wellbeing earlier

  • understand patterns, triggers and the impact of different environments

  • strengthen evidence around interventions and what is actually working

  • create greater continuity between the people supporting a child

The result: less reliance on individual incidents, and a deeper understanding of the child behind them.

See the change before it becomes the crisis.

Parent & Family

Families see things that no single professional ever can.

The difficult morning. The change in sleep. A new anxiety. Something that worked last week but doesn't today. Individually, these moments can seem insignificant. Over time, they can reveal an important story.

Loma helps families capture those everyday experiences and gradually build a clearer picture of their child's behaviour, emotions and wellbeing — making it easier to recognise patterns, understand change and remember what happened when.

A clearer picture over time can help families:

  • recognise patterns that are difficult to see day to day

  • better understand triggers, changes and recurring challenges

  • see what strategies appear to help — and what doesn't

  • bring clearer evidence and context into conversations with professionals

The result: families don't have to rely on memory alone to explain a journey they live every day.

Turn everyday experience into understanding.

Community Mental Health & Learning Disability

Community support happens across people, places and time.

A professional may see someone for an appointment, during a home visit or following an incident. Each interaction provides valuable information — but on its own, it is only one moment in a much longer journey.

Loma brings those moments together longitudinally, helping teams see how behaviour, wellbeing, risk and support needs are changing over time — and recognise patterns that can be difficult to see within individual contacts or records.

A clearer longitudinal picture can help teams:

  • recognise emerging changes in behaviour, wellbeing and risk

  • identify patterns across incidents, observations and everyday support

  • strengthen continuity between professionals, teams and services

  • understand whether support strategies are having the intended effect

The result: person-centred shared understanding, rather than starting again with every contact.

See the whole journey, not just the latest contact.

Private Practitioners

A therapeutic session captures a moment. Life continues for all the hours in between.

Changes in mood, behaviour, relationships, sleep, anxiety or everyday experiences can be difficult to recall accurately when the next appointment arrives — particularly when patterns only become apparent over time.

Loma helps create a longitudinal picture between sessions, giving practitioners and their clients a richer understanding of what is changing, what keeps recurring and what may be influencing progress.

A clearer picture between sessions can help practitioners:

  • identify patterns that might otherwise remain hidden

  • explore changes in mood, behaviour and emotional wellbeing over time

  • understand the context surrounding significant moments

  • make therapeutic conversations more focused and evidence-informed

The result: less time trying to remember what happened, and more time understanding what it means.

Understand what happens between the sessions.

Fostering Agencies & Carers

Some of the most important information about a child is found in the ordinary moments of everyday life.

A change in routine. A different reaction. A difficult transition. Something that suddenly starts working. Foster carers see these moments first-hand, but their significance may only become clear when they are understood together over time.

Loma helps turn those everyday experiences into a longitudinal picture of the child — helping carers, agencies and professionals recognise patterns, understand change and carry valuable insight forward.

A clearer longitudinal picture can help:

  • recognise emerging changes and concerns earlier

  • understand patterns, triggers and responses over time

  • give greater context to reviews and professional conversations

  • preserve valuable insight as different people become involved in a child's journey

The result: seeing the child's continuing story, not lost between reports, reviews or transitions.

Turn everyday care into lasting understanding.

Residential Mental Health & Learning Disability

Residential care never stops — but the people providing it inevitably change.

Every shift brings new observations, incidents, interactions and decisions. The challenge is ensuring that important information doesn't simply pass from one shift to the next, but contributes to a deeper understanding of the person over time.

Loma connects those everyday moments into a longitudinal picture, helping teams understand changes in behaviour, wellbeing and risk — while giving each shift greater context about what has happened before.

A clearer longitudinal picture can help teams:

  • strengthen continuity between shifts and staff teams

  • recognise emerging changes in behaviour, wellbeing and risk

  • understand patterns across incidents, observations and everyday interactions

  • see how support strategies and interventions are working over time

The result: contributions to understanding, not simply handing over what happened today.

Continuity of understanding, across every shift.

Request to join the Alpha Partnership Programme

Organisation Type

Loma is currently onboarding a small number of carefully selected partner organisations into its Alpha Partnership Programme.

This collaborative rollout is designed for forward-thinking providers across mental health, SEND, residential care, fostering and therapeutic services who want to help shape how behavioural intelligence is applied in real-world environments.

Alpha Partners will receive early platform access, direct collaboration with the founding team, priority influence over feature development and the opportunity to help define next-generation approaches to behavioural understanding and longitudinal insight.

Due to the hands-on nature of the programme, availability is intentionally limited.
